Our Services

Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) for substance use disorders

We currently provide both virtual and in-person services

At Sigma Counseling Services, we offer two levels of outpatient substance use treatment:
Level I: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Level II: Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP). Both programs are designed to combine individual and group counseling to support and sustain recovery from drugs, alcohol, or both.

Level II: Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP)

Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) is designed for clients who need a supportive approach to substance use recovery rather than an intensive one. This program provides a safe and structured environment that reinforces positive behaviors, boosts self-esteem, and helps clients maintain their progress toward long-term recovery.

Clients who benefit from SOP may include those transitioning from a more intensive program, such as our IOP, or those in need of aftercare following residential treatment. SOP is ideal for individuals who already have a basic understanding of addiction and the recovery process and are seeking ongoing support to prevent relapse. Clients typically attend counseling sessions twice a week, which focus on relapse prevention, coping strategies, and emotional support.

Key Features of SOP:

  • Individual and group counseling sessions twice a week
  • Relapse prevention strategies
  • Continuous reinforcement of recovery concepts
  • Supportive environment for long-term recovery
  • Guidance for navigating everyday challenges in sobriety

Our IOP is widely recognized and accepted by local courts and probation departments in Dallas, Collin, Denton, Tarrant, and other counties. We are committed to supporting our clients in meeting program requirements and achieving successful recovery.
