Here at Sigma Counseling Services, we offer two levels of outpatient substance abuse treatment program: Level I: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Level II: Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP). Both programs are designed to integrate individual counseling and group counseling in an effort to support and sustain a successful recovery from drugs, alcohol, or both. In the individual counseling sessions, clients will work with their counselor to create a recovery program specific to their individualized needs. While many addicts struggle with co-occurring mental health problems, legal problems, and family conflict due to substance abuse/dependency, our professional treatment team works with clients so they may improve their lifestyle and achieve a comfortable level of physical, emotional, psychological, and mental stability by maintaining sobriety. In the group counseling sessions, clients have the opportunity to share various experiences with group members in order to increase insight to see one’s own problems. During the IOP participation, clients are able to develop their own individualized treatment plan with their therapist’s assistance, which increases a probability to quit substance use behaviors and to develop a new positive life style through enhanced life management skills. Our treatment team is ready to assess the level of treatment a client needs and to place clients accordingly in an appropriate program that best suits their needs.
Level I: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Sigma Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for substance abuse treatment provides a Texas-certified Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program designed to provide in-depth treatment for clients experiencing problems with alcohol/drugs and other substance dependence. The goals of the program are to provide information about the physical, emotional, social, and legal consequences of alcohol consumption and/or drug use and prevent recidivism. Alcoholism or drug addiction is a serious progressive illness that unless treated can lead to family, social, financial, legal, mental and physical health, occupational, and spiritual problems. The treatment components focus on a recovery program concerned with not just abstinence, but abstinence as a fulfilling, productive way of life. Each client will have an individual treatment plan based on a face-to-face interview, screening results and intake information. Individualized treatment plans with each client will identify and address specific individual needs related to substance abuse/ dependence problems. Clients attend primary group treatment and education sessions. Individual and family counseling sessions are provided as needed. The treatment program goal is to educate and motivate each client to understand his/her substance use patterns and their significance for self and others and to design an appropriate and comprehensive relapse prevention plan.
Sigma IOP affiliates with local probation departments (i.e., Dallas, Collin, & Tarrant County CSCD), the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), and others. Our program complies with those program requirements and actively supports our clients in completing their IOP.
Sigma IOP program accepts most insurance plans, NorthStar Program, private pay, third-party pay, and others.
